This World is Weightless
Part Five: The psycho-emotional-energetics of your body parts play powerful roles in guiding and forming life beyond the obvious physical existence. In the holistic picture, these additional functions are essential to your conscious evolution. It's sometimes said, and often thought, that you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. But think about it, this planet is actually weightless, it floats freely in space like the astronauts do. The only force that creates weight is gravity, and the Earth cannot be held under the force and influence of its own gravity. The only weight you carry on your shoulders is not the weight of this world -- it's the weight you imagine existing in your world. This is the weight of your thoughts and your imagination. Thinking and imagining has a voice; it's that inner voice . . . it actually travels from your left inner ear to your right inner ear through your throat. You breathe the ideas of these thougths and imaginings into your lungs; into your heart; then your blood distributes them into the cells of your body. Your entire body knows what your thinking and imagining, and is able to act as a single unit. When particular thoughts repeat themselves -- day, after week, after month, after year -- there's a build-up and eventually a back-up. This back-up builds in the throat; the neck, and eventually extends down to your shoulders. If this is from burdonsome thoughts, this then becomes the weight of your world . . . it's actually the weight of your repeating negative thoughts and unresolving imagination. If you don't change your thoughts and release this weight, it eventually bends your spine into a permanent slouch. Our prayer is that you realize this world is weightless; that it floats effortlessly in the space all around it; that your world -- when in its most natural form -- can be effortless and weightless as well. This is the attitude that gratitude presents to the burdens of life; this is the attitude you deserve to live by; this is the attitude contained in your prayers and in our prayers . . . this is the weightless attitude of all benevolent thinking . . . it releases the weight of the world from your shoulders.
