Pranayama

There’s a study in physics known as “String theory” -- that within the atom, and then within its sub-atomic parts, and so on and on -- there's a level of examination where you’ll arrive at nothing but sound . . . vibration making up everything in space and time. Yogis studied this, long before it was known to physics, in the science of mantra. They found a mantra which inverts the infinite nature of spacetime is -- Humee Hum Brahm Hum -- (what is to be already is). A mantra that overcomes all oppositions is -- Aap Sahai Hoaa, Sachay Daa Sachaa Doaa, Har Har Har. A mantra that locates you in the “specifics” of spacetime and gives you complete support in that location is -- Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru. A mantra that allows you to move back and forth throughout time, from the past, to the present, and into the future is -- Aad Guray Nameh, Jugad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Guru Devay Nameh. A mantra that puts you in touch with the master that is you, within you, throughout forever is -- Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo.

These are the sounds that when uttered in your throat, either through an audible voice, or your thinking voice, create a vibration that activates peptides and hormones that then produces attitudes to alter outlooks and outcomes. Meditations on sounds are powerful and meaningful to the outcomes of your moments, and the incomes of your locations. Meditations on your breathing are also ways of altering the course and currents in the winds of spacetime . . . shifting the unsatisfying differences, and enabling the preferences of destiny. One of the most powerful of meditations on breathing -- pranayama -- is to meditate on accessing the memory of your very first, and then the future memory of your very last . . . accessing your initial breath, and your ultimate breath simultaneously. Also sensing the first heartbeat -- that initial beat -- and the ultimate beat -- the very last beat of your life defines the story in between these points. This connects you to life in the ‘first person’.

Our prayer is that you’ll meditate on sound and breath to create preference while remaining present in the ‘first person’ . . . the person who is actually you.
