Mantra

Mantras decode the sacred nature of language. Mantra is Sanskrit, and in Sanskrit, the meaning of words is within the sylables. The word mantra, 'man' means the mind, or universal mind -- 'tra' means projection, or projection of the brain. When you engage a mantra -- your awareness follows the particular inflection of the sound; engages the universal mind by connecting it with your brain -- that's focused on the sound. Then through the direction and flow of that sound, it maps a pathway in your consciousness. This path can move through the subconscious to clear it, and through the deeper portions of the unconsciousness to awaken them. When you practice mantras often enough, and over a sustained period of time, your thought patterns will naturally arrive at the higher-conscious (superconscious) mind. These are the highest regions of the Univeral mind. Here's where the mysteries turn into mastery; your questions find their answers, and the problems and challenges involved in life are solved with new, intuitive and innovative thoughts. Life is miraculous, and the miraculous nature of life unfolds through these thoughts arising from the higher consciousness. Yogi Bhajan once described mantra in this way -- the tongue is equal to the hands on the keyboard of the upper palate of your mouth . . . mantras play this upper palate to access the highest levels of the brain-mind connection. Through this same mechanism, every word you say affects the frequency of your brain; the frequency of your brain affects the level of your connection to the universal mind . . . this is known as the brain-mind connection. As your brain frequency rises -- gaining access to the higher frequencies of the universal mind -- miracles are just a heartbeat away. You can reach them -- you can touch them -- you can have them. Mantras are also an excellent way of managing your words. Our prayer is that you chant as a natural part of your days; that you use this to fill the empty and meaningless chatter that occupies your brain, and that you use your brain as a tool to access the higher regions of the mind . . . where the miracles of life, the ones you want to see on Earth, are waiting for you.
