Hourglass

The passage of time is like an hourglass. The grains of sand are the moments passing through the narrows of the present space. The sand that has fallen through is the past and the one waiting to fall is the future. However, remember that there is a view of the glass that can see it all in a single glance. Spiritual mastery (and now scientific study as well) tells us time is an illusion. It is a limited perception constrained within our five senses. The “passage of time” is imagination, our way of making sense of the world.

However, there is a more advanced way to view the cosmos. The one that sees all time as one, known as the continuum, where you just see the sand in the glass with no reference to its movement, realizing all sand exists at once. It takes intuition, premonition and psychic abilities.

Every human has the ability to perceive and interpret time in this way, but most haven’t activated the “equipment.” The world discredits this view by calling it “crazy”, “weird” or “dreaming.” Don’t let this stop you from unlocking your potential.

Commitment is one of the most powerful tools we have. It can override impulse and places control of your experience back in your hands. It is one of the ways to the power of intuition; to embrace and comprehend the passage of time, to help guide you toward your goals.

An extremely practical method of discovering, strengthening and tuning up your commitment is through yoga, meditation and chanting. Kundalini yoga can stretch you into your body glove to remove the emotional distractions and physical discomforts. Meditation and chanting clear up the brain of its chatter and enable clarity. Tuning this human instrument on a regular, consistent, daily basis presents you with the joy of knowing what you actually know.
